Brittany's 21st week
So I got on the scale this morning thinking I was for sure at the point of no return, in other words that their was no way I was still losing weight and that I was for sure gaining now. I guess I was wrong...I dropped 2 lbs!!! Which means I am only 1.5 lbs from my pre-pre-pregnancy weight. Dang, I wish I could keep going on, at this point 11.5 lbs does not sound like it would've been all that hard. But, I guess 1.5 will have to be my goal now. I have not worked out since before I went home to TN, I have really just lost all desire to exercise b/c I am pregnant. When, really this is a time I should be exercising right? Well anyway, I owe the weight loss this week to having no appetite and everything making me feel sick. That's what I'm guessing anyways. Well, hopefully next week I can lose that 1.5 lbs b/c I don't know how much longer I am going to be able to lose more weight. Good luck to me!

Brittany's 18th-20th Weeks
I'm guessing pretty soon I'm gonna stop losing weight and start gaining like crazy. My last post I let you all know that I was prego. I was in TN for 2 weeks and am now home. I got home Tuesday night. I got the stomach flu Monday while I was there, so that probably helped with my weight loss this week. I lost 1.1 lbs since last time I updated. So I have lost 16.5 lbs, 3.5 lbs from my 1st pre-pregnancy weight. Maybe I can make it to that weight, but there's no way I can make it to my goal of losing 13.5 more lbs. But next year I can start all over!

Oh well...
So I haven't been weighing in with the holidays and all, but the main reason why is b/c we said that the only way this competition was off is if one of us got pregnant, neither one of us were expecting that, so yeah, Brittany is, so it's pretty much off. We will have to do this again! Iknow she is having a hard time with this, but she looks great! She will be fine, it will be hard at first i'm sure but her babies will be the best of friends! The holidays have put me behind, i've gained alittle okay 3 pounds! I can usually lose what i've gained pretty quickly though, So i'll work on that this week!
Brittany's Update
I didn't weigh in this week because I am in Tennessee for Thanksgiving. I will be here for another week, so I will not weigh in until next week. I do have some news though. I have been keeping this a secret for the past 4 weeks. I wanted to wait until I came home and told my family first. So, as you're probably guessing from what I just said...I am pregnant. I have not been very happy about this fact since I found out. I have still been losing weight, and will continue to try as long as possible, the healthy way of course. After I can't lose anymore I will update you on my pregnancy. I am trying to be positive, but if you have been following along with this weight loss blog then you know I have been trying my hardest to get back to my normal size and weight. This 2nd pregnancy is putting a huge damper on my plans. I only had about 4 months of freedom from being pregnant. These babies are going to be less than 13 months apart. I am terrified, but I am praying for the strength and patience to get through this. Obviously, this pregnancy was not planned. We were doing everything right to prevent getting pregnant, until next year of course, but it just didn't work. So, obviously Heavenly Father really wanted me to be pregnant AGAIN for some reason. I just have to have faith that this is really His plan and everything Will work out.
I'm sorry for going on forever like this, but I just felt like a blog is the place where I can really share my feelings. Any advice, suggestions, cheering up?

Brittany's 16th & 17th Weeks
Last week I didn't post anything for the 16th week b/c I was in California. My mother-in-law asked me to go w/ her to visit her mom and sister on Sunday and I would leave the next day. Of course right!? California! So, we drove 14 hours there, got car sick and threw up and got there Monday night. (there was tons of traffic in Las Vegas, and later on a bad car crash that allowed us to go 3 mls in 1.5 hrs) We stayed all the way through Saturday morning, it took 12 hours that time. Anyway, so b/c I wasn't at home to weigh myself Friday morning I didn't wanna have to do it Sunday morning. I figured I'd just wait until this past Friday, and hopefully loose the vacation weight I probably gained as well, to weigh in. So finally, the results. I lost .4lb. Which means, I have lost 15.4 lbs. 14.6 more to go til I reach my goal.

oops
So as you all know I don't have the internet, so its been hard to post..But I guess after that huge fiasco with my kids getting sick, me getting those horrible hives, the side effects of the medicine they gave me left me starving, and horribly sick, it was really hard to get back on the band wagon! The medicine i had to take to get rid of the hives said on the box, "could cause depression, an increased appetite and mood swings," yeah I had all of the above, for those who know me, i'm not a depressed person, But I must say, I laid on the couch for a week trying to get over this. Finally I read the box, I know I shouldn't have, but I stopped taking the medicine. It worked, I was back to normal in about a day or so. It was hard getting back onto a healthy diet after that. I haven't gained and I haven't lost either, so there ya go, my sad excuse for not doing what I'm supposed to.

Brittany's 15th Week
The beginning of this week I did not feel very well at all. My stomach hurt for the first few days. But, I worked out everyday but one. I didn't have a very large appetite either so, I guess I ate pretty well too! So, I lost 1.6 lbs this week! All together I have lost exactly 15 lbs, halfway to my goal! Only 5 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. (22 wks postpartum) Maybe I can lose the last 5 this week! haha Yeah, I wish.

Brittany's 14th Week
This past week I did a lot better w/ eating and working out than I did the week before. Because of this I lost 1/2 a lb. Yay! I lost something right?! So, all together I have lost 13.4 lbs. Only 6.6 more lbs til I reach my pre-pregnancy weight! (21 weeks postpartum) 16.6 more lbs to go til I reach my goal.

Brittany's 13th Week
Here's another picture from today. Lindsey recommended I do the same pose as the first picture so people could compare. So, Lindsey I hope this is close enough. Usually I like to suck in my gut for pictures, but for the blogs sake I wanted to let you see what I look like for real. Hopefully I'm smaller than the 1st picture. I just can't wait to have my wash board abs again, haha j/k, but honestly, I can't wait to get rid of the baby belly.
So, I didn't do very well this week at all. I think I only worked out twice and yesterday I didn't eat that great either. Cade was a little bit of a handful this week b/c he didn't react very well to his shots, at least I'm going to use that excuse. So needless to say, I didn't loose any weight this week. I promise I will do much better next week!

ouch~
So last week i was in cookeville and was unable to weigh in, but i did so well last week, i worked out 5 days and ate healthy. THis week I worked out 3 times and ate healthy as well. BUt there has been a little set back, I took some medicine for a urinary tract infection, and on the 8th day of taking it I broke out into hives! I had a rash from my head to my toes, in my throat, in my ears, My face was 2 times bigger, my whole body was huge it seemed. My lips were even swollen. So i'm pretty sure that would explain the 4 pound gain weight yesterday, today it is 2 lbs over, but I'm not sure. I know I am still very swollen, uncomfortable and itchy. Next week I will def. know for sure! ~Bonny
Brittany's 12th Week
I woke up this morning to weigh myself, after going to the bathroom of course. I expected to have lost a little bit. So I got on the scale and!!!!! I was so excited! I lost 2.9 lbs!!! (Too bad I can't say exactly 3 lbs) So all together I have lost 12.9 lbs. Oh, and I am almost 19 weeks postpartum, for those wondering. Only 7.1 lbs to go to my pre-pregnancy weight, but again it's the weight that I was when I got married that I want to reach, so 17.1 lbs to go! Oh and by the way, last night I decided to try on a pair of pants that I havn't been able to fit into since the beginning of my pregnancy and, well, they fit!!! (I have been trying since I had Cade to fit into them) Yay!

Brittany's 11th Week
I have officially lost exactly 10 lbs!!! It only took 11 weeks, ugh. I lost .2 lbs this past week. Not much, but atleast I lost something right? I worked out almost everyday and I am still trying to eat smaller portions and not snack too much.

Brittany's 10th Week
This past week I worked out almost everyday. I ate alright, didn't snack too much. So, overall it was a good week. I ended up losing .6 lbs this time. Which means, I am only .2 lbs away from an even 10 lbs! yay I have lost 9.8 lbs since the competition started. I am almost 17 weeks postpartum (29.8 lbs lost since having Cade) and I only have 10.2 lbs to go til I reach my pre-pregnancy weight, 20.2 lbs. til my goal.

Brittany's 9th Week
I'm am so excited! I finally lost more than just a few ounces! I worked out everyday but Monday and I ate pretty well. My husband even made chocolate chip cookies and I only ate maybe 5 all together, that was over a few days. I had to control myself big time, b/c usually I like to eat that many in one sitting. So, I am pretty happy. I lost 1.3 lbs this past week. Which makes a total of 9.5 lbs I've lost since the competition started. Which means I only have 10.5 lbs to go til I reach my pre-pregnancy weight, and 20.5 til I make my pre-marriage weight (my goal).

Brittany's 7th & 8th Week
Ok, so I just got back from Tennessee. I was there for 10 days, I had a lot of fun visiting my family and showing Cade off to everyone. I worked out about every other day and I actualy didn't eat that well either. We went out to eat a lot. I didn't post last week because my mom's scale weighs different than mine. According to hers I lost the .3 lb I gained the week before, plus another additional .3 lb, so .6 altogether (according to her scale). For this past week I lost another .4 on top of that. So, since 2 weeks ago I have lost 1 lb altogether! yay Since we started, I have lost 8.2 lbs. Slowly, but surely I am going to lose that weight!

7 weeks later
So I lost another pound this week. So that's a total of 9.2 pounds. I worked out almost everyday this week and I watched what I ate. Thanks to everyone for the support, I really appreciate it. Oh and thanks Cameron for voting so generously for your wife on our poll. ;) Found a new blog that I think is going to be real helpful. Jenny Bradford told us about it. http://shmtotalfitness.blogspot.com/ Check it out!! I think I want to get into running, we shall see. Running is hard for me, just b/c it hurts my leg most of the time (I broke my leg years ago and it hurts when I run). Maybe the more I run the less it will hurt.

Brittany's 6th Week
Ok, I'm really disappointed in myself. But, what can I expect? I went on vacation to Arizona from Friday-Wednesday and I didn't work out while I was there and I ate whatever I wanted. I did work out yesterday, and I ate good, but that was it. So, needless to say, I gained .3 lb back : ( So, this next week hopefully I do a lot better. I'm actually going to Tennessee on Tuesday, hopefully being with Bonny and my Mom will only help. Cross your fingers!

Thank you everyone for the comments! Anyways, still the same, haven't lost anything this week. I only worked out once this week mainly b/c my kids had runny noses and you're not allowed to bring your kids to the Y nursery with a runny nose. I ate really well though. So i'm just glad I haven't gained any. Next week will be better i'm sure. I figured out that my scale weighs me 3 pounds heavier so that's cool. Well gotta run!!~Bon

Brittany's 5th Week
So, I just got back from vacation. I left for Arizona on our weigh in day, so I didn't get the chance to post my weight loss. I lost .8 lb for last week, a total of 7.2 lbs. So slowly, but surely the weight is coming off. I don't know how my weigh in is going to be this week...vacation isn't great on weight loss.

Brittany's 4th Week
Ok, so I actually didn't do too well this week. I only worked out 3 times this past week and I didn't eat very well 3 of the days either. I worked out Thursday, but Friday and Saturday I worked for Cameron at the Davis County fair collecting money. Monday I hung out at the Long's all day and night because we had a big family dinner for Cameron's brother Geoff and Erin's wedding. Tuesday we had activities going on all day for their wedding in the Salt Lake Temple and reception/dinner. Wednesday I did work out, but it was our Anniversary so we went to Famous Dave's, and it was yummy!!! But, b/c of those few days I didn't eat very healthy, it was good though ; ). So, I lost .7 lb this past week. For a total of: 6.4 lbs. I am 10 weeks postpartum, 13.6 lbs to go before I reach my pre-pregnancy weight. 23.6 lbs to go until I reach the weight I want to be at.
4 weeks later
I've lost a total of 8.2 pounds. I have done really well on exercising this week! I worked out everyday for an hour-hour1/2, eating on the other hand not so much. I did okay, but the anniversary really got to me, it was hard to get back on track after that. So its been 4 weeks and I've lost an average of 2 pounds/week which was my goal, so I feel pretty good about that. It really helps to have someone to call and talk to about weightloss and things..so i'm glad that Brittany and I are doing this it is a very big motivation for me! ~Bonny

Brittany's 3rd Week
So, overall I think I did pretty well w/ working out everyday (except weekends)and eating. I don't eat that healthy for dinner, but I do cut back on portions, which is the hard part for me. I lost 2 lbs this past week, yay. So over all I've lost 5.7 lbs.

2 Weeks Later
So, this past week, I did really well. I tried working out everyday, if I wasn't able to get cardio in, I at least did weights, abs, etc. So, I ended up losing another pound, so that is 6 pounds total. I will give you an example of what I typically eat during the day, a bowl of cereal for breakfast (6:30), a granola bar for snack (10:00), Turkey sandwich on wheat bread lunch sometimes a pickle and reduced fat Pringles (12:00), a snack that I mentioned below (2:00), and then for dinner, I usually just eat what I cook for everyone else but I eat the right portions of it. I work out doing Tae Bo or I go to the Y. For those of you who have On Demand with Comcast, they have free exercise videos, and they have anything from abs, hip hop, dancing, kickboxing, etc. Its fun to do something different everyday, especially when I can't get to the Y like I would like. So last night Chad's Dad was in town and took us to dinner. I knew he was so I really watched what I ate during the day, I'll be honest I only ate a bowl of cereal and a few bites of the kids mac n cheese and a yogurt, b/c i really just wanted to eat what I wanted. I'm following the weight watchers plan and for any of you who knows the point system, this will give you an idea of why i didn't eat during the day. The rolls are 10 points EACH! A 12 oz steak is 18 points! So I got a 6 oz steak and I ate 2 rolls, a salad with lite dressing (yuck) haha, and a baked potato. I was proud of myself for not eating like 10 rolls those things are good. Anyways, I'm really trying to train myself to eat like this for the rest of my life. Of course during the weekend I don't deprive myself, b/c then I wouldn't be able to do this, but i really do need to eat more healthy, and this is how I ate before I got married and had children, so I just need to get back into my old habits. ~Bonny

Brittany's 2nd Week
So, I didn't do that great this week at all. I was sick for half of it, so I didn't get to work out Wednesday-Saturday but, I continued to eat pretty good throughout the whole week. Monday-Wednesday I was able to work out, but still it wasn't good enough. I only lost .7 lb this week, ugh. At least I lost something though, right? I also use the excuse that I am currently on my period this week (sorry if there's any guys reading), and I'm pretty sure that doesn't help much with losing the lbs, at least showing it on the scale. Oh for those that are wondering, I am 8 weeks postpartum.

Brittany's 1st Week
I haven't been able to update b/c I forgot the e-mail address and password to sign in. Bonny was gone on her camping trip so I couldn't get it from her. So, I am now letting you know what's going on. I lost exactly 3 lbs in the past week. I went to the gym each day and worked out for 30 min. some days I went on walks w/ Cade for 30-45 min. Other days I did 10 min. abs w/ Denise Auston. I've been sick since Tuesday w/ a horrible cold, so I haven't worked out since Tuesday. So, hopefully I do better this week. I did pretty well w/ eating, I don't snack much at all and I don't crave things really either. The only weakness I have is eating a little too much at dinner time.

Campout=Success
The camp out went well, I really didn't eat that much and I really didn't even think about it, I was glad, we were way too busy to eat anyways! This morning I woke up and i have lost 5 pounds according to my scale. YEAH! I was so excited! Thanks for the comments everyone! OH CHOCOLATE is my weakness by the way.. yummy! When I crave it, i just get a diet coke or something. It works well and fills me up. Also, my new favorite snack is 94% fat free popcorn with I can't believe its not butter spray, not as good as the real thing, but good when you are trying to eat healthier. A week later
So, this week was pretty hard! It got a little easier everyday. I worked out almost everyday, and I ate very healthy, after sunday anyways. I am proud of myself. I lost 4 pounds, so it has paid off. We are going camping this weekend, so it will be hard to do well, but I'm just going to work on my portion control and all of that! I need to post a before picture, but haven't brought myself to take one, just look at the beach pics on my other blog, ugh..haha..anyways, wish me luck ya'll!

Brittany's 1st Day
So, I started the day out great, but ended it horrible. I started the day out with a bowl of cereal. I worked out on the treadmill for 20 minutes, walking fast (I have to start out slow) and then I went on a walk outside with a friend and Cade for 45 minutes. For lunch I had a tuna fish sandwich and some chips. For dinner I did horrible! I am using the excuse of Pioneer Day, I'm in Utah so it's an actual celebrated holiday. We hung out w/ some friends and they made us dinner. I had a hot dog, hamburger (I know, I should've chose only one), pasta salad, corn on the cob, watermelon, root beer and for desert they made homemade rocky road ice cream. Tomorrow I will do much better, I promise!
Bonny's First Day
So today was a little tough, we had the missionaries over for dinner, so of course we had to make something good. We had grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes, salad and corn on the cob. For dessert we had brownie fudge sundaes yummy. I only had a little of each and I confess I had a brownie fudge sunday! I guess i just wanted to have one last dessert, and well..i don't regret it! haha..it was so good..I worked out for 40 min and now i'm about to do abs and muscle toning while Chad and I watch a movie. For my 40 min workout i did a denise austin work out dvd, b/c i didn't feel like going to the Y, i figured it would be so easy, but dang am I out of shape!! I totally was sweating and waiting for it to end, but now that is over I feel really good! It was fun b/c Hallie did it with me and it was just adorable watching her try to do the kickboxing and stretching haha..so hopefully tomorrow will be better!!! ~Bonny
