2 Weeks Later

So, this past week, I did really well. I tried working out everyday, if I wasn't able to get cardio in, I at least did weights, abs, etc. So, I ended up losing another pound, so that is 6 pounds total. I will give you an example of what I typically eat during the day, a bowl of cereal for breakfast (6:30), a granola bar for snack (10:00), Turkey sandwich on wheat bread lunch sometimes a pickle and reduced fat Pringles (12:00), a snack that I mentioned below (2:00), and then for dinner, I usually just eat what I cook for everyone else but I eat the right portions of it. I work out doing Tae Bo or I go to the Y. For those of you who have On Demand with Comcast, they have free exercise videos, and they have anything from abs, hip hop, dancing, kickboxing, etc. Its fun to do something different everyday, especially when I can't get to the Y like I would like. So last night Chad's Dad was in town and took us to dinner. I knew he was so I really watched what I ate during the day, I'll be honest I only ate a bowl of cereal and a few bites of the kids mac n cheese and a yogurt, b/c i really just wanted to eat what I wanted. I'm following the weight watchers plan and for any of you who knows the point system, this will give you an idea of why i didn't eat during the day. The rolls are 10 points EACH! A 12 oz steak is 18 points! So I got a 6 oz steak and I ate 2 rolls, a salad with lite dressing (yuck) haha, and a baked potato. I was proud of myself for not eating like 10 rolls those things are good. Anyways, I'm really trying to train myself to eat like this for the rest of my life. Of course during the weekend I don't deprive myself, b/c then I wouldn't be able to do this, but i really do need to eat more healthy, and this is how I ate before I got married and had children, so I just need to get back into my old habits. ~Bonny

Brittany's 2nd Week

So, I didn't do that great this week at all. I was sick for half of it, so I didn't get to work out Wednesday-Saturday but, I continued to eat pretty good throughout the whole week. Monday-Wednesday I was able to work out, but still it wasn't good enough. I only lost .7 lb this week, ugh. At least I lost something though, right? I also use the excuse that I am currently on my period this week (sorry if there's any guys reading), and I'm pretty sure that doesn't help much with losing the lbs, at least showing it on the scale. Oh for those that are wondering, I am 8 weeks postpartum.

Brittany's 1st Week

I haven't been able to update b/c I forgot the e-mail address and password to sign in. Bonny was gone on her camping trip so I couldn't get it from her. So, I am now letting you know what's going on. I lost exactly 3 lbs in the past week. I went to the gym each day and worked out for 30 min. some days I went on walks w/ Cade for 30-45 min. Other days I did 10 min. abs w/ Denise Auston. I've been sick since Tuesday w/ a horrible cold, so I haven't worked out since Tuesday. So, hopefully I do better this week. I did pretty well w/ eating, I don't snack much at all and I don't crave things really either. The only weakness I have is eating a little too much at dinner time.

1 Wedge of Laughing cow cheese and 10 reduced fat Wheat thins
Baked Tortilla chips and Fresh Salsa
94% fat free popcorn with "I can't believe its not butter" spray
Granola Bar
Yogurt
Edy's Frozen Yogurt (blackberry and vanilla swirled) tastes just like regular ice cream & only 3g fat
Caffeine Free Diet Coke
100 Calorie packs (my favorite are the mint grasshopper cookies)
Watermelon, Strawberries, Grapes, Bananas, Oranges etc. (i love fruit) And its really good with fat free whipped cream

Campout=Success

The camp out went well, I really didn't eat that much and I really didn't even think about it, I was glad, we were way too busy to eat anyways! This morning I woke up and i have lost 5 pounds according to my scale. YEAH! I was so excited! Thanks for the comments everyone! OH CHOCOLATE is my weakness by the way.. yummy! When I crave it, i just get a diet coke or something. It works well and fills me up. Also, my new favorite snack is 94% fat free popcorn with I can't believe its not butter spray, not as good as the real thing, but good when you are trying to eat healthier. I took some of that to a movie the other night and it did the trick!! Thanks everyone for your comments! ~Bonny

A week later

So, this week was pretty hard! It got a little easier everyday. I worked out almost everyday, and I ate very healthy, after sunday anyways. I am proud of myself. I lost 4 pounds, so it has paid off. We are going camping this weekend, so it will be hard to do well, but I'm just going to work on my portion control and all of that! I need to post a before picture, but haven't brought myself to take one, just look at the beach pics on my other blog, ugh..haha..anyways, wish me luck ya'll!
